Endodontics
Is the area of dentistry in charge of treating pulp diseases or dental nerves. Due to deep cavities, sudden pains caused by thermic or chemicals stimulus, like: acid, sweet, cold or heat. Root canal is required when there´s presence of pain, infection or color changes due to dental trauma or nerve damage. Additionally, it focus the non vital bleaching when the tooth turns into a yellow – brown or grey color, apical surgery and procedures with the use of microscope.
Periodontics
Specialty in charge of prevention, diagnostic and treatment of diseases that affects the tissue which give support to the tooth, like the gums and bone. Periodontal treatment is required when there´s presence of bleeding or gums inflammation, dental mobility, appearance of gum retractions and dental tartar which is the hard plate that is not removable when brushing teeth. Additionally it corrects the aftermath of the periodontal disease of tooth loss with dental implant placement.
Oral rehabilitation
Area that restores the smile. Giving oral harmony, esthetic and function through treatments like dental crowns, porcelain veneers, inlays-onlays, total-partial dentures or when there´s loss of a dental piece replaced with a dental implant. This specialty is focused on digital dentistry to provide more precise, fast and comfortable treatments.
Orthodontics
Is based on correction of alterations in the skeletal growth and craniofacial development of the patient, achieving prevention of malocclusion to obtain an adequate function and aesthetic; aligning the teeth and develop a more ideal and stable bite through esthetic braces (ceramic-transparent), metallic braces and invisible aligners, more commonly known as invisible orthodontic.
Pediatric dentistry
Field of dentistry in charge of the attention of Infants and children, generating trust and connection with the children and their family. Facilitating the integral wellbeing and prevention of oral diseases such as cavities, malocclusion and avoiding dental developmental abnormalities on the adolescence stage.
Maxillofacial surgery
Specialty in charge of skeletal treatments with severe problems, head alterations and neck, like tumors, oral cysts or bad position of the maxilla or jaw. This is the right area for extractions of third molars (wisdom teeth), complex dental extractions and bichectomy to reduce cheek volume so the face looks more profiled and thinner. Such as the use of hyaluronic acid for facial oral harmonization.
